Springtrap, also known as William Afton, is a central antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) horror game series. He first appears in Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

William Afton was the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. Springtrap is the decayed and heavily damaged animatronic suit of Bonnie, which Afton used to hide from the vengeful spirits of the children he murdered.

Trapped inside the Spring Bonnie suit after its springlock mechanism failed, William Afton slowly decayed within. As Springtrap, he is a menacing and unpredictable threat to the player.
